Description
I'm gonna try and help out the Ponymon people by doing some back sprites if they'll let me, so here's my second try at Lyra Heartstrings battle sprite when being used in battle.
The base used was by Tomato on the Ponymon wiki who also has a DA account at
as well.
Note that this is also just a larger version of the actual version to show the details better for critique. The actual image is 64x64 pixels and has a transparent background. I did put the original image in this one as well for a reference on how the larger one will look in the game when shrunk down.
Edit: As per critique given, I tried adding an inner mouth structure with tongue and all so it looks more like an open mouth than a sawed in half head.

What a lovely sprite! Lyra is one of my favorite bg characters. This is really nice! ^^
Okay, let's start with faults. Keep in mind I never worked with pixels so... yeah! ^^ I barely see any, which is really good! Everything seems to be in place, especially the eyes, cutie mark, eyes, mouth, etc.
I think the only thing that could be better is the white part of her bangs. It could be a little more curved. But it's really well!
So yeah, it looks just like Lyra. And again, it's great that there isn't a lot of faults! ^^
